That rumbling sound in the distance? Third Rail’s NOISES OFF is coming

If you’ve got room for just one show in your holiday (or even entire) season this year, the choice is pretty simple.

Michael Frayn’s NOISES OFF, high water mark for British door-slamming physical comedy farce, is coming to Portland.

Done well, the show is an experience you won’t forget. And if anyone is up to the rigorous demands of this monster undertaking, it’s the anglophilic, very funny people at Third Rail.

NOISES OFF hits town in December as end of year holiday mania commences. Remember how fun MIDSUMMER was last year at PCS during the same time? It’s the ideal seasonal moment for something warm and funny. And by god is this play funny.

With a cast to die for, there is going to be one hell of a lot of noise coming out of the Winningstad starting December 6.

You don’t want to miss this.
