National Theatre Wales brings new play about Bradley Manning to Edinburgh

If you saw WE STEAL SECRETS, this year’s profile of Wiki Leaks chief savant Julian Assange, you may have come home with two main takeaways:

1 – Assange is a major league scuzz ball.
2 – Bradley Manning is utterly fascinating.

And the story of how the trajectories of these two wildly different personalities crossed, and what happened as a result, is about as exciting as it gets.

Leave it to the Brits (er – the Welsh), then, to make theatre from our most relevant American political currents.

National Theatre Wales brings their Manning piece to Edinburgh August 6.
