In case you have been holed up in the Embassy of Ecuador with Julian Assange and all your electronic communications have been jammed for months…
As you may not know (but surely everyone else on earth does), this is the big weekend at Portland Center Stage.
Once a year, for a week in July, the new play development cruise ship sails into Portland and unloads a boatload of artists at the city’s leading theatre.
They work, they play, they drink coffee.
And when the dust settles, Portlanders get to see (for free, mind you) readings of four new plays over two days.
Where else can you do that this weekend?
