A finely acted and pointed play, but without heart or attractive qualities. Lost in the quest to dramatize the unhappy life and times of Laurie Metcalf’s chilly corporate character is a consideration of what’s in it for the audience. Unto what end this pain and suffering? Why? Not really clear.
