Not necessarily my best work ever, but here’s what I got.
I foolishly left TADADA! midstream to try to cram in some theatre. I missed three hours of the party but got back in time for some fun with The Pepper Pepper. It was quite the night.
You’ve got about 24 hours to glue the heels back on your Ace Freeley platforms and panic buy glitter dust.
Because tomorrow at 5:30 PM, PICA’s TADADA! kicks off.
The PICA volunteer army (ably assisted by the world famous PICA van) is already swarming over The Redd on SE Salmon Street, transforming it from giant empty warehouse into dream factory. Check back later today for some photos of the chaos and splendor taking shape.
Also – help celebrate the wild and wacky PICA van by posting photos of it tagged with #picavan.
Tick tock – time is running out.
From the fun folks at PICA, who not only bring Portland the single best live performance festival of the year but also carry on with all sorts of interesting stuff all the live long day every day – it’s time for a party.
On May 16, Ecotrust’s newly acquired event space in SE (“The Redd” – on Salmon Street – get it?) will be the scene for an epic PICA style blowout benefit. Pepper Pepper is holding court at the after-party. Any questions?
If you recall the days of The Dada Ball – you can see where this is heading.
